Job summary

Ccindavi is seeking a proactive Project Engineer to own and drive capital projects on the manufacturing floor in Ripon, WI. You will lead the implementation of new equipment and assembly systems from start to finish, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to realize continuous improvements.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to travel occasionally for machine runoffs and vendor activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 6 years equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing capital projects with new equipment or systems.
• Proven experience working with contractors and vendors.
• Strong communication across all levels; flexible to travel for runoffs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of new processes, equipment, and assembly systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure on-time project launches.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and design engineering teams to integrate systems.
• Specify tools, jigs, and fixtures and provide daily production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of new processes, equipment, and assembly systems.
• Manage and coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure projects are launched successfully and on time.
• Examine current operations to identify and execute improvement opportunities in safety, quality, throughput, and cost.
• Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and design engineering teams to integrate systems seamlessly.
• Specify tools, jigs, and fixtures while providing daily troubleshooting and production support.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Mechanical, Welding, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or 6 years of equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing the implementation of capital projects involving new equipment or systems.
• Proven boots-on-the-ground experience dealing with contractors and vendors.
• Exceptional flexibility, strong follow-up skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
• A willingness to travel occasionally for machine runoffs and related vendor activities.
