Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Project Engineer in Los Angeles to support the project team with submittals, RFIs, change orders, contracts, procurement, scheduling, and documentation. You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and owners to keep projects organized, on schedule, and within budget, with strong growth opportunities into a Project Manager role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and managing construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, addressing any issues to maintain project timelines.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports.
  • Conduct site visits to oversee progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to resolve technical challenges and implement solutions.
  • Support communication between stakeholders to align on project objectives and updates.
  • Track and report project performance metrics to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
