Job summary

Michael Page International Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead high‑end commercial construction projects in the Los Angeles area. You will oversee initiation, planning, execution, and delivery, coordinating with clients and contractors to meet timelines and budgets.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of ground‑up project management, leadership, and proficiency with Procore, Primavera, and MS Project, with PMP/CCM/LEED/OSHA certifications being highly desirable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience with ground-up commercial builds.
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with construction software such as Procore, Primavera, and MS Project.
  • Professional certifications (PMP, CCM, LEED, OSHA) are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Los Angeles permitting processes and local codes.

Responsibilities

Job Description
  • Manage all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules and resource allocation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience with ground‑up projects. Experience in commercial, multifamily, or large‑scale builds strongly preferred.
  • Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership, organization, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency with construction software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project). Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and contracts.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM, LEED, OSHA) are highly desirable. Experience with Los Angeles permitting processes and local building codes. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
