Job summary

MissionStaff in the United States is seeking a Project Engineer to support large EPC projects from inception to completion, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to contracts.

Required Skills:

  • Engineering degree required (mechanical preferred, but flexible).
  • Power or utilities background is a plus!
  • Excellent verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong anticipation, prioritization, and time management abilities
  • Budgeting and financial interpretation skills
  • Multi-cultural awareness and experience
  • Self-motivated, analytical, results-oriented, quick learner, and problem solver
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently without sacrificing quality
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships
  • Knowledge of contractual legal terms and technical specifications

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience in engineering and construction projects within the Power, Energy, or similar markets
  • International project experience
  • Familiarity with project monitoring and reporting tools

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience managing engineering and construction projects, especially in energy or power sectors

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~30%)
  • Ability to create reports and deliver presentations to senior management
  • Capability to verify compliance with policies, procedures, and project standards
