This is a key leadership role within a growing EPC business, responsible for leading the engineering delivery of complex power generation projects from concept through construction.

Working closely with project management, procurement, construction, and clients, you'll take ownership of engineering scope, budget and schedule while leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams across electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, controls and process disciplines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical leadership with project execution and wants to play a significant role in building and developing an in-house engineering capability within an established organization.

Key responsibilities:
  • Leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams across EPC power generation projects
  • Managing engineering scope, budgets, schedules and change management
  • Acting as the primary engineering interface with clients throughout project delivery
  • Coordinating engineering deliverables with procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
  • Providing technical oversight of third-party engineering partners while developing internal engineering capability
  • Driving engineering standards, quality processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Mentoring engineers and developing high-performing technical teams
  • Supporting project planning, risk management and technical decision making
From a profile perspective, we’re interested in speaking with individuals who have:
  • Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience managing engineering activities on EPC or design-build projects
  • Background within power generation, energy, industrial plants, oil & gas, process industries, or other large-scale industrial infrastructure
  • Previous experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of engineering project delivery, client management, and commercial project execution
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Professional Engineer (PE) registration would be advantageous, although it is not essential. This position offers the opportunity to join a business experiencing significant investment and growth, with the chance to influence engineering standards, build capability and deliver major infrastructure projects within the power generation sector.
