Job summary

Apollo, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project management team by coordinating documentation, logistics, and communications for construction projects.

This onsite role also supports remote project work with per diem provided, requiring strong technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills; the candidate will read specs, manage schedules, and collaborate with subcontractors and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain jobsite documentation (RFIs, change orders, ASIs, supplemental design documentation, QA/QC, submittals, etc.)
• Coordinate jobsite logistics and paperwork (office supplies, badging/orientation)
• Coordinate deliveries of equipment and material
• Assemble estimates and budgets
• Manage subcontractors and vendors
• Attend project meetings
• Write and track purchase orders and subcontracts
• Update project schedules
• Craft productivity tracking
• Communicate clearly and effectively
• Learn and apply technical concepts
• Multi-task and work under pressure and deadlines
• Learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate diplomatically with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems
• Read and comprehend project specifications and drawings

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, Word and Outlook)

• Basic understanding of HVAC systems

• Capable of reading and comprehending project specifications and technical drawings
