Engage Contracting is seeking a Project Director to provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of construction projects in Utah. You will drive operational excellence, financial performance, client satisfaction, risk management, and team development from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities include mentoring project teams, resource allocation, profitability review, budgets, and collaboration with accounting and owners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
  • 7–10 years of Commercial Construction Project Management experience required.
  • 3–5 years of Commercial Construction leadership preferred.
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop project teams.
  • Provide executive oversight for a portfolio of projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Allocate resources across projects to maximize efficiency and client service.
  • Review project profitability, health, schedules, procurement, quality, and risk.
  • Resolve escalated project issues before they affect cost, schedule, or client relationships.
  • Own portfolio profitability, forecasting, backlog, cash flow, and financial reporting.
  • Review and approve major budgets, estimates, contracts, and change-order strategies.
  • Partner with Accounting to improve forecasting accuracy and financial controls.
  • Maintain executive relationships with owners, architects, and strategic partners.
  • Support business development pursuits, interviews, and proposal strategy.
  • Partner with executive leadership on annual planning, staffing, technology, and operational strategy.
  • Identify operational risks and implement long-term solutions.

Engage Contracting is looking for a Project Director to join our team!

The ideal candidate will play a strategic leadership role for the company's portfolio of construction projects. This role is responsible for operational excellence, financial performance, client satisfaction, risk management, and the development of project teams. The ideal candidate will establish standards, mentor leaders, allocate resources to projects and teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and in alignment with company objectives.
