Deloitte’s GPS team is hiring a Project Lead Analytics and Insights Engineer II to design and deliver production-grade analytics solutions. You will apply statistics, ML, and data visualization to inform leadership decisions and collaborate across government clients, including the Surface Navy.
You will develop data pipelines, APIs, and dashboards, guiding data governance and security while partnering with senior leaders to drive strategic outcomes.

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain production-grade applications, dashboards, reporting tools, and data-driven solutions that support command priorities and operational performance.
Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, and data visualization techniques to generate actionable insights and inform leadership decision-making.
Develop and maintain data pipelines, databases, APIs, and analytics platforms, integrating data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality, governance, and security.
Collaborate with leadership, technical teams, and stakeholders across the Surface Navy and partner organizations to translate operational requirements into scalable, reliable, and effective technical solutions.
Advise senior leadership on data management strategies, software capabilities, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with strategic objectives.

8+ years of experience developing software solutions using Python, SQL, R, or comparable programming languages, with demonstrated ability to build and sustain production-grade applications and analytics tools.
5+ years of experience applying statistics, machine learning, predictive modeling, and advanced data analysis techniques to solve complex business or operational challenges.
5+ years of experience designing and maintaining data architectures, data pipelines, databases, APIs, and scalable cloud or enterprise data solutions.
4+ years of experience developing dashboards and visual analytics products using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar business intelligence platforms.
5+ years of experience working across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, testing, version control, documentation, deployment, and continuous improvement.
5+ years of experience collaborating with senior leaders, cross-functional stakeholders, and technical teams, with excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business outcomes.
Experience supporting the Navy.
Ability to travel 5-15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $125,000 to $208,300.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
