Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking a detail‑oriented Project Coordinator to serve as the primary contact for customers, engineers, and municipal partners, guiding stormfilter cartridge exchange orders from quote to delivery.

You'll collaborate with Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Credit, Marketing, and other teams to ensure accurate orders, pricing, and shipping documentation while maintaining CRM records and supporting growth opportunities. Overnight travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years in customer service, sales support, or order management in industrial sectors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries, quotes, orders, and product support.
• Prepare and follow up on pricing quotes to convert opportunities into orders.
• Process orders, submittals, drawings, deposits, and shipping docs.
• Coordinate delivery and return freight for cartridge exchange programs.
• Resolve issues related to orders, pricing, invoicing, shipments, and receivables.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Credit, Marketing, and others to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain customer, project, and sales records in CRM and Access databases.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Generate new business opportunities through lead generation and outbound prospecting.
• Maintain knowledge of company products, capabilities, and processes.
• Follow established procedures for timely and accurate service.

Join Our Team as a Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator (PC) is the central resource for customer support and manages all aspects of the StormFilter Cartidge Exchange order process between quote and delivery. The PC is the primary contact for customers, engineers and municipal contacts seeking support related to the long‑term maintenance of our stormwater treatment products. Our maintenance support team is a small but integral part of our operation, providing support and training to internal and external customers alike. Occasional (10%) overnight travel is required to visit maintenance projects in the field and ensure their technical expertise is current and relevant.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service, sales support, order management, or a related role within construction, manufacturing, industrial, or engineering industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Proven problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access, and CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% overnight.

Preferred

• Experience supporting technical or engineered products.
• CRM experience.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial sales.
• Ability to interpret civil site plans and technical specifications.
