Job summary

Paul Davis Restoration of Miami Beach and Hialeah is seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to keep reconstruction and remodeling jobs organized and moving. You are the connection point between the Project Manager, trade partners, suppliers, and homeowners or property managers.

You will track schedules, coordinate materials and selections, document progress, and keep clients informed at every step. This junior role offers a path to learn the restoration and remodeling business from the inside.

Qualifications

• Fluent English is required; communicates with clients, adjusters, and managers.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in construction, remodeling, or related trade.
• Working knowledge of residential construction and finish materials (kitchens, baths, floors, cabinets, countertops, drywall, paint).
• High attention to detail and ability to notice issues early.
• Comfortable communicating with clients on the phone and in person.
• Organized, self-starting and reliable; follows through without prompting.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn project software.
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily job schedules with subcontractors, trade partners, and suppliers.
• Track material orders, deliveries, and client selections.
• Keep job files complete and current with photos, scopes, permits, certificates, and sign-offs.
• Communicate proactively with homeowners and property managers on status and next steps.
• Visit active job sites to verify progress, document, and flag issues.
• Support the Project Manager with punch lists, walkthroughs, and final client sign-off.
• Assist with permit applications and inspection scheduling.
• Escalate delays, cost changes, or client concerns the same day.

The Role

The Project Coordinator keeps our reconstruction and remodeling jobs organized and moving. You are the connection point between the Project Manager, our trade partners, our suppliers, and the homeowner or property manager. You will track schedules, coordinate materials and selections, document job progress, and keep clients informed at every step.

This is a junior position. We are not looking for someone who already knows everything - we are looking for someone motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the restoration and remodeling business from the inside. You report to the Reconstruction Project Manager.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate daily job schedules with subcontractors, trade partners, and suppliers
• Track material orders, deliveries, and client selections (cabinets, countertops, flooring, tile, paint, fixtures)
• Keep job files complete and current: photos, scopes, change orders, permits, certificates of insurance, and sign-offs
• Communicate proactively with homeowners and property managers on status, next steps, and scheduling
• Visit active job sites across Miami Beach and Hialeah to verify progress, take documentation photos, and flag issues early
• Support the Project Manager with punch lists, walkthroughs, and final client sign-off
• Assist with permit applications and inspection scheduling
• Escalate delays, cost changes, or client concerns to the Project Manager the same day

What You Bring

• Fluent English is required. This role speaks with clients, adjusters, and property managers every day.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in construction, remodeling, or a related trade - field, office, or a mix
• Working knowledge of residential construction and finish materials: kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, drywall, and paint
• Strong attention to detail; you notice when something is off before anyone tells you
• Comfortable on the phone and in person with clients - you can hold a professional conversation and keep people calm and informed
• Organized, self-starting, and reliable; you follow through without being chased
• Basic computer skills and the willingness to learn our project software
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation - this role travels between job sites

Nice to Have

• Degree or coursework in Construction Management, Building Construction, or Interior Design (FIU, MDC, and similar programs are a great fit)
• Experience with insurance restoration, Xactimate, or estimating software
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30

What We Offer

• $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
• Paid training and Paul Davis national certification programs

Schedule and Location

Full-time, Monday to Friday, on-site. Based in Miami-Dade with regular travel between our Miami Beach and Hialeah territories. Occasional after-hours availability during storm or emergency events.
