Job summary

FNBO in Omaha seeks a Project Coordinator to support Agile ceremonies, intake, planning, and execution. You’ll help create roadmaps, shepherd epics and stories, and keep milestones on track while collaborating with tech and business partners.

You’ll manage risks, remove blockers, and lead smaller projects, promoting transparency and accountability. Hybrid work ensures in-person collaboration three days a week with two remote days.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field.
  • 1–3 years’ experience managing projects.
  • Strong Agile mindset with experience facilitating Agile ceremonies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Organize intake requests and maintain team roadmap and backlog.
  • Develop requirements with tech and business owners; define success metrics.
  • Plan epics and stories; schedule work timelines.
  • Provide updates on execution and stakeholder accountability.
  • Proactive risk management and issue resolution.
  • Protect team from interruptions; promote transparency.
  • Monitor milestones and remove blockers to stay on schedule.
  • Update Agile tool with project documentation.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies appropriate to the team.
  • Lead the team and leverage individual strengths.
  • Adapt to evolving situations and drive problem solving.
  • Monitor performance, processes, metrics for improvements.

You will be accountable to help identify and resolve risks and roadblocks that get in the way of the team's success. You will also step in to lead smaller, team-driven projects — keeping work organized, dependencies on track, and meeting milestones.About This Role:Key Accountabilities:Organize intake requests, facilitate conversations and partner with key roles in the creation, reviews and maintaining of a team roadmap and backlogWork with tech and business line owners to develop requirements, define success metrics, manage, and executeSchedule and facilitate work breakdown sessions to build out epics, stories, and plan a timetable for an initiativeEnsures accurate and timely updates on execution of the team’s work and accountability to stakeholders.Demonstrate proactive risk management through risk mitigation, appropriate escalations, driving decision making and issue resolutionProtect the team from external interruptions and distractions. Keep the team motivated while promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.Monitor the milestones, help to remove roadblocks, to remain on scheduleDiligently update Agile tool for documentation of the workFacilitate Agile ceremonies appropriate with the team’s make-up and organization maintaining an agile mindsetExhibit strong leadership skills by bringing the team together and leveraging the skills of individual team membersDisplays ability to shift thinking and adapt to the demands of an evolving situation to solve problems.Monitor practices, team performance, processes, and metrics to identify opportunities for improvementThe Ideal Candidate for This Role:Required:Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field1-3 years’ experience managing projects or relevant business experienceStrong Agile Mindset with experience facilitating Agile ceremoniesExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsProven track record of meeting deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDesired:Outstanding organizational abilitiesAdaptable thinking and problem-solvingStrong leadership capabilitiesExcellent facilitation skillsDetail-oriented with process improvement mindsetCandidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.Compensation:Compensation range (base pay): $69,616.00-$114,867.00This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.Work Environment:It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week.
