Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Project Coordinator in New York to support Project Managers with schedules, deliverables, and documentation. This entry point role helps you build foundational knowledge of engineering design, construction practices, and project delivery processes.

You will learn to coordinate task assignments, maintain project plans and budgets, and communicate across stakeholders while developing your project management mindset within a diverse, employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Degree preferred: Associate or bachelor's.
• 4 years of relevant experience required, with 2 years of project support experience.
• Basic understanding of project execution and building design principles.
• Self-starter with ability to influence and motivate others.
• Proven collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports project execution and coordination with increasing independence under the Project Manager.
• Assists in development of project proposals and contract coordination.
• Coordinates the development and tracking of project deliverables.
• Assists in scheduling and assignment of tasks to internal team members.
• Attends, documents, and follows through on project meetings.
