Job summary

Pauley Construction, LLC is seeking a Project Coordinator in Colorado Springs to support project managers across multiple utility infrastructure projects. The role requires coordinating resources, documentation, and communications to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

You will work under a Senior Coordinator or Manager, interfacing with subcontractors and vendors, and handle field and office tasks from intake through closeout in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
  • Must possess, or obtain upon employment, a valid driver’s license.
  • Must pass a background check and company drug screening.
  • Must be able to attend and pass all company required training as needed.
  • May be required to work after hours; on weekends or be on-call as work is needed.
  • Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers.
  • 0 to 2 years of Project Management experience.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and problem solving skills, as well as understanding of legal documents and agreements
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to meet changing deadlines and priorities
  • Ability to demonstrate professional written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Suite , Smartsheet’s.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment interacting with both internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment using critical thinking skills to resolve problems.
  • Previous work experience in construction, telecommunications, or technical field, preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information.
  • Work with the Project Manager to eliminate issues.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
  • Read construction plans and assist with development of project trackers.
  • Track and update schedules to adhere to deadlines.
  • Support closeout packages.
  • Interface with subcontractors and vendors as needed.
  • Coordinate material ordering and tracking.
  • Maintain document control, safety, quality assurance documentation, and project records.
  • Work under a Senior Coordinator or Manager and support all project departments.
  • Provide project support under lead PM guidance for ongoing projects.
  • Facilitate team meetings, capture minutes and action items.
  • Document important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Cultivate relationships with clients and key vendors for project progression.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.
  • Prepare daily As-builts for all projects.
  • Capture restoration sketches for submission to Pauley team.
  • Enter information into Pauley systems for job packets.
  • Field visits for asbuilts/quality control for close out of jobs for billing.
