Job summary

Midwest Concrete Constructors (MCC) seeks a skilled Project Coordinator to support our concrete team and field operations, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and per specifications.

You will coordinate communications between suppliers, clients, and internal departments; manage multiple projects, transition from estimating to operations, develop procedures, and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of subcontractor construction administration experience.
• Proactive, team-oriented, adaptable.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; Procore experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support MCC staff to ensure timely, professional communication with suppliers, clients, and internal departments.
• Coordinate and administratively manage multiple ongoing projects; prioritize deadlines and maintain project documents.
• Research pricing from suppliers; document pricing and vendor data for estimating and planning.
• Assist in transitioning projects from estimating to operations.
• Develop standard procedures and manage vendor relationships while coordinating crew lodging and schedules.
• Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, shop drawings, approvals, inspections, and procurement.
• Support project closeout, including punch lists, final documents, warranties, and final billing.

Midwest Concrete Constructors (MCC) is seeking a highly-skilled construction Project Coordinator to join our growing team. You’ll have the opportunity to support our concrete team and the administrative activities associated with the field operations of a project from day one! Bringing the project to completion on schedule, within budget, and per the project specifications.

Partnered with the ARCO Family of Companies, MCC is a full-service concrete contractor. Our office and field staff provide turnkey concrete foundation, slab on grade, tilt up, and exterior pavement solutions for small renovation projects and 1M square foot + projects. MCC has successfully completed projects for ARCO and general contractors across the country.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Support the MCC team to ensure timely and professional communication between suppliers, clients, and internal departments
• Coordinate and administratively manage multiple ongoing projects at once. Prioritize multiple deadline-driven deliverables for various stakeholders, while maintaining accurate project documents for the duration of the project
• Research and obtain competitive pricing from concrete suppliers, reinforcing steel suppliers, equipment and material vendors. Document pricing and vendor data to support future estimating and project planning
• Support the transition of projects from estimating into operations
• Develop standardized company procedures and preferred vendor relationships while coordinating crew lodging around project schedules, crew requirements, and duration
• Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, shop drawings, approvals, inspections, testing, procurement, and other required documentation
• Support project closeout, including punch lists, final documentation, warranties, and final billing requirements
• Various other administrative functions as required, including support of your operational leader, travel, expenses, and scheduling

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5+ years of subcontractor construction administration experience
• Must be proactive, internally motivated, team oriented, and adaptable
• Must be proficient in Word and Excel. Procore experience a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required
