Job summary

CPH in Columbia, SC seeks a Project Coordinator to support a multidisciplinary civil/municipal team, handling site planning, permitting, and coordination with engineers, surveyors, and clients. You will assist with budgets, schedules, contracts, and documentation while maintaining clear communication and efficient workflow across internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience in project coordination, preferably within the AEC industry or professional services environment.
• Basic level site planning experience and knowledge.
• Experience with financial tracking, contracts and multi-disciplinary project coordination.
• Experience supporting multiple projects, teams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across internal teams, clients and external partners with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand site planning and manage responsibilities for land development team.
• Assist in creating site plans, review layouts, and manage outside consultants.
• Navigate zoning laws, process land development applications, and secure permits.
• Track milestones, development schedules, and cost estimates or cash flows.
• Act as liaison between developers, contractors, and local government officials.
• Assist in pipeline development and tracking; establish records and templates.
