Job summary

EEI is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support commissioning and building performance projects across healthcare facilities, data centers, laboratories, and universities. You will work with Project Managers, engineers, and owners to ensure systems perform as intended.

You will assist with planning, scheduling, testing, documentation, and client communications while gaining hands-on experience through all phases of project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Sciences, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in commissioning, project management, building systems, controls, or related environments.
• Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and sequences of operation.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PM software, and collaboration tools.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution support.
• Assist with commissioning activities, testing, and performance verification.
• Prepare commissioning reports, test procedures, and deficiency logs.
• Collaborate with owners, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Support schedule management, meetings, and change management.
• Grow knowledge of building systems and commissioning processes.
