Job summary

Project Coordinator – Population Health

Hybrid in Washington, D.C.

Where You’ll Work

This position will be based in our Washington, DC office. We observe a hybrid working model that consists of three days in the office, two days optional remote work.

What You’ll Do

You will support the implementation of CHA’s population health initiatives, including key programs like Behavioral health Learning Collaborative (BHLC), Community Health Affinity Group (CHAG), and Accountable Health Learning Collaborative (AHLC), while collaborating with internal and external partners to advance programming and engagement. You will also assist with member collaboratives and provide administrative support, including meeting coordination and calendar management.

  • Serves as support for CHA’s work in mental health, community health, population management and is a bridge and connection point between members and external stakeholders
  • Supports member sharing via the various Population Health Higher Logic Communities
  • Supports the leaders in the department in their efforts to highlight member work with allied organizations and external stakeholders
  • Supports development, dissemination and delivery of programming and resources addressing population health for member audiences and external stakeholders.
  • Supports the development of additional content within open-to-all forums which includes webinar series and article writing used to demonstrate CHA’s roles as a leader in population health.
  • Assists facilitators of the CHAG, BHLC and AHLC
  • Supports the development of learnings from these groups to share with broader membership
  • Supports the on-going assessment of children’s hospital’s needs to inform development, dissemination and delivery of appropriate programming.
  • Establishes and maintains professional relationships with children’s hospitals to enhance overall membership support of CHA.
  • Participates in strategic children’s hospitals outreach, including on-site visits, calls and involvement in advisory groups and committees.
What You’ll Bring To CHA

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting group engagement activities such as interest groups, webinars, or peer learning forums.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience crafting messaging specific to various social media channels
  • Knowledge of pediatric mental health, community health, and/or population management.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and engage stakeholders across a variety of settings.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience creating written content such as white papers, infographics and reports.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

This pay range shown is a guideline. Min:$52,000 Max: $100,000Compensation is based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
