Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support healthcare clients. This remote role involves coordinating project schedules, managing documentation, and facilitating communication among stakeholders. Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Insight Global is seeking a Project Coordinator to support one of our healthcare clients. This will be a 6 month contract, with potential extensions and possible conversion. This will be sitting fully remote in one of the approved states: Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, North Carolina, or Virginia.

Day to day
  • Supporting project managers and teams by coordinating schedules, managing documentation, and facilitating communication among stakeholders.
  • Ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within scope. The position may manage lower-complexity projects independently.
  • Project planning, executing, and monitoring project activities.
  • Tracking timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure adherence to schedules.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation (charters, budgets, schedules, RAID logs).
  • Managing lower‑complexity projects as assigned.
  • Acting as the primary contact for internal teams and external partners regarding project status.
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes.
  • Facilitating cross‑departmental communication to resolve issues promptly.
  • Supporting budget tracking and expenditure monitoring.
  • Coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Monitoring risks, issues, actions, and decisions; assist in mitigation strategies.
  • Escalating unresolved issues to project managers.
  • Preparing status reports and dashboards for leadership review.
  • Analyzing performance data and support post‑project reviews.
Must Haves
  • 4+ years of overall experience and recent experience in Project Coordination.
  • Highly organized, energetic, and strong communication is a must.
  • Ideally generic healthcare and/or health plan (insurance) experience.
  • Past working in an environment with multiple projects going on at once.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
