Job summary

You will work with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure complete and accurate submissions, while delivering strong customer service and meeting deadlines.

The role emphasizes coordinating with Estimators, handling bid communications, and maintaining project calendars in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Lighting experience preferred but not required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience in electrical/lighting industry preferred.

What You'll Do

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating proposals, bids, quotations, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective clients. This role requires collaboration with members of the sales, marketing, finance, or product teams to ensure content is complete, accurate, and timely. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of professional customer service, meet deadlines, work effectively in a challenging environment and be willing to go the extra mile.

You will:

• Foster and maintain excellent working relationships internally with estimating and outside sales representatives
• Assign jobs in Eclipse to Estimators
• Keep a calendar of how many jobs each Estimator has for each day
• Collaborate with other Coordination Specialists for "out of territory" quotes
• Ensure effective communication throughout the projects team regarding upcoming bids
• Manage the Commercial Projects email inbox
• Assist with submittals and operation and maintenance manuals
• Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships
• Stay current with new product information and emerging technologies
• Distribute and maintain bid sheets
• Follow up on open and outstanding quotations with salespersons and customers to determine status
• Communicate with account representatives, account executives, and inside sales reps to ensure quotes and resulting orders are complete

What You'll Bring

Education and/or Experience:

• High School or GED
• Lighting experience is preferred but not required
• 1-2 years customer service experience - electrical/lighting industry preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Reliable, responsible, detail-oriented and a great work ethic
