Job summary

DH Pace Company in Olathe, KS seeks a Project Coordinator to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget by planning, directing, and coordinating activities for our commercial construction projects.

You will work with project managers on shop drawings, billing, and project correspondence, while delivering excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. This role requires strong organization and communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Construction management degree or 2+ years’ experience in a Project Coordinator/Assistant PM role for a construction/service company preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Access and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, customer relations, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with project managers on all aspects of projects including processing shop drawings, project correspondence, and billing.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Set up and maintain files on sold projects.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress billings for current projects.
• Process project paperwork including contracts, subcontracts, lien waivers; create and manage purchase orders and change orders.
• Obtain quotes from vendors.
• Purchase and track material; assist in creating submittal documents.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Project Coordinator
