DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a Sr.

Project Manager for our Olathe, KS office to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget by planning, directing, and coordinating activities. Responsibilities include overseeing construction projects in carpentry, drywall, or general construction, reviewing plans and specs, assigning staff and resources, and communicating with customers to develop sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• PM or Estimating experience in construction preferred.
• Excel and Word experience required.
• Fast-paced environment with high responsibility and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities to meet objectives on time and within budget.
• Review project plans and specs to determine time frame, budget, staffing, and resources.
• Assign duties and provide technical advice to staff.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and report status to stakeholders.
• Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and resolve issues.
• Oversee submittals, permits, closeouts, and parts ordering.
• Ensure financial success of projects.

DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire a Sr. Project Manager in our Olathe, KS office! Responsibilities will include ensuring project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure construction project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities
• Proven track record in successfully managing projects in carpentry, drywall or general construction desired
• Review project plans and specs to determine time frame, budget parameters, field staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project
• Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority and provide technical advice/trouble-shooting
• Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed
• Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems
• Work with submittals, permits, close outs, and ordering parts.
• Responsible for financial success of projects
• Additional company projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• Project Management or Estimating experience within the construction industry preferred
• Must have Excel or other spreadsheet software and Word or Word Processing software experience
• Must have proven experience in a fast paced environment, juggling a lot of responsibility, with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are a must
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
