DH Pace Company, Inc. is hiring a Project Manager for our National Accounts Facilities department. This on-site role is based at our corporate headquarters in Olathe, KS.

The successful candidate will ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget by coordinating with general contractors and managing submittals, plans, and specifications. Candidates should have a Construction Management degree and at least three years of experience as a Construction Project Engineer or Assistant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management and 3+ years in construction project roles.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Familiar with bidding, RFI, submittals, contracts, change orders, and site safety.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel intermittently.

Responsibilities

• Review construction project plans and specifications to determine materials, order materials, and coordinate with vendors.
• Direct and coordinate activities to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Present information to managers, clients, and customers and explain technical findings clearly.
• Coordinate project execution using good judgment and forecasting.
• Follow procedures for management of projects on time and under budget.
• Monitor all projects to ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction.
• Develop innovative solutions to project execution challenges.
• Maintain project files and ensure accurate billing and documentation.
• Collaborate with strategic partners and internal service teams on SLAs.

DH Pace Company, Inc., is hiring for a Project Manager in our National Accounts Facilities department! This role is located on-site at our corporate headquarters in Olathe, KS! Successful Project Managers ensure construction project objectives are met by specified dates and within budget by partnering with general contractors and managing submittals, plans, and specifications. We are seeking candidates who have a Construction Management degree with at least three (3) years of work experience as a Construction Project Engineer or Construction Assistant Project Manager for a construction company, sub-contractor, or Owners Representative.

Job Responsibilities

• Review construction project plans and specifications to determine materials needed, ordering materials, operate within customer specified budget parameters, and working with outside vendors to coordinate schedules and installs
• Direct and coordinate activities to ensure projects are progressing on schedule and within the budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and clients and providing updates as needed
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and effectively communicate the technical findings of technicians to our clients and customers
• Must be able to master project coordinating and problem solving by using good judgment and forecasting
• Follow administrative procedures and processes for the management of projects on time and under budget
• Monitors and reviews all projects to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met
• Determine innovative solutions to any/all problems concerning execution of jobs
• Help maintain job files by gathering information to ensure projects are completed and billed accurately
• Work with our strategic partners and internal service team in establishing and adhering to service level agreements
• Maintain and promote a positive attitude toward customers and fellow employees regardless of the circumstances
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Qualifications

• Construction Management Degreewith at leastThree (3) years’ experience as a Construction Project Engineer or Construction Assistant Project Manager for a construction company, sub-contractor, or Owners Representative.
• Candidates will need to have a high attention to detail and enjoy a fast-paced work environment that is very deadline focused
• Familiarity with the construction process from bidding, RFI, submittals, contracts, change orders, site safety/mgmt., progress meetings, Procore, and project closeout.
• Mechanically minded or inclined
• Strong mathematical ability; must verify bids for accuracy
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent communication, customer relations, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability for intermittent travel.
