Job summary

Tricon is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee daily construction administration and development projects on a hybrid schedule. The role involves coordinating timelines, permits, notifications, and ordering appliances, with current remote work on Mondays and Fridays and Brentwood office on Tue/Wed/Thu.

Starting February 2027, in-office days shift to Monday–Thursday with Friday remote. You will support cross-functional teams and ensure timely project progress and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary Education either University Degree (i.e. Business or Engineering degree) or College Diploma (Business or Construction Management Program).
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is expected.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and time-management abilities are required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project schedules with Construction and Development Teams and prepare status reports.
  • Ensure proper documentation and processes for every project.
  • Organize site visits, manage deficiency lists and upload project photos.
  • Assist with delivery and pickup of drawings, permits, and deposits.
  • Communicate with vendors on site coordination, invoices, POs and payments.

Job Description

The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing daily construction administration and development projects including timelines, schedule, permits, notifications, approval processes, ordering appliances. This position works on a hybrid schedule and currently works from home Monday and Friday, and in the Brentwood office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Starting February 2027 will be in office Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday and will work from home Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.

  • Work closely with the Construction and Development Teams to coordinate project schedules, prepare project status reports, communicate project progress, and assist with documents and processes as required

  • Ensure execution of proper documentation and process for every project

  • Organize and attend site visits. Create and manage deficiency lists and project photos. Upload photos into the system

  • Assist with the delivery and pick up of drawings, permits, deposits as required

  • Communicate with vendors on an ongoing basis: site related coordination, invoices, POs, payments, permit application

  • Assist with permit application process

  • Assist to ensure construction timelines are up to date and in accordance with project schedules/ notifications

  • Ensure issue of close out checklist and submission of close out documents

  • Oversee, coordinate, and track the vendor onboarding process

  • Assist team members with any training and use of implemented processes and programs

  • Willingness to learn and positive attitude towards others and scope of work

Minimum Requirements:
  • Post-Secondary Education either University Degree (i.e. Business or Engineering degree) or College Diploma (Business or Construction Management Program)

  • A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of relevant work experience in project management
