Job summary

Tricon is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee daily construction administration and development projects. You will manage timelines, permits, notifications, and order appliances while supporting the Construction and Development Teams in Brentwood and home-based work days in a hybrid schedule.

The role requires strong organizational skills and effective vendor coordination. You will ensure proper documentation, manage site visits, and assist with permits and drawings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant project management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project schedules with Construction and Development Teams.
  • Manage project documentation and processes; ensure accuracy and completion.
  • Organize site visits and manage deficiency lists and photos.
  • Coordinate delivery, permits, deposits, and drawings; liaise with vendors.
  • Oversee vendor onboarding and training on new processes.

Job Description

The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing daily construction administration and development projects including timelines, schedule, permits, notifications, approval processes, ordering appliances. This position works on a hybrid schedule and currently works from home Monday and Friday, and in the Brentwood office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. Starting February 2027 will be in office Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday and will work from home Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Construction and Development Teams to coordinate project schedules, prepare project status reports, communicate project progress, and assist with documents and processes as required
  • Ensure execution of proper documentation and process for every project
  • Organize and attend site visits.
  • Create and manage deficiency lists and project photos.
  • Upload photos into the system
  • Assist with the delivery and pick up of drawings, permits, deposits as required
  • Communicate with vendors on an ongoing basis: site related coordination, invoices, POs, payments, permit application
  • Assist with permit application process
  • Assist to ensure construction timelines are up to date and in accordance with project schedules/ notifications
  • Ensure issue of close out checklist and submission of close out documents
  • Oversee, coordinate, and track the vendor onboarding process
  • Assist team members with any training and use of implemented processes and programs
  • Willingness to learn and positive attitude towards others and scope of work

Minimum Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Education either University Degree (i.e. Business or Engineering degree) or College Diploma (Business or Construction Management Program)
  • A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of relevant work experience in project management
