This is a W2 contract opportunity

Duration: 4 months

Hours: 40/week (central time)

Pay: $30/hr - $40/hr

We are seeking a contractor to lead the migration of approximately 200 transactional communications to a new consumer front-end platform, portal, brand, and experience. This role functions as a production manager, collaborating closely with creative and marketing teams to guide each communication through the entire lifecycle—from creation, review, business approval, legal and compliance clearance, to final entry into systems for implementation by print and digital communications partners.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented and capable of meticulously tracking each communication throughout review, approval, and deployment processes. They should be a proactive self-starter who quickly understands complex processes and team dynamics, executing next steps independently without constant supervision. Strong skills in reporting status updates—including key wins and challenges—to cross-functional teams with upstream and downstream dependencies are essential.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in communications or marketing
• Proven ability to organize, manage, advocate for, and report on large project scopes
• Experience building a suite of communications involving multiple upstream and downstream dependencies, reviewers, and approvers

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Previous work managing a large portfolio of transactional communications
• Experience in communications within highly regulated industries such as health care
• Comfort working in large, matrixed organizations
• Familiarity with project management software like Adobe Workfront
