Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Seeking a motivated assistant project manager ready to take the next step ready to take the next step in their career (or a current Project Manager) and join a reputable firm as a Project Manager. You will focus on commercial projects within the TI space! This opportunity offers room for career growth, hybrid flexibility, and industry-leading compensation package.

This Minneapolis based construction company is a leading General Contractor. They are a leader in the MN market with many excellent clients and a steady pipeline of local projects. This company is looking to add a Project Manager to its rapidly growing team to work on a large upcoming pipeline.

Description

• Provide leadership and direction on commercial construction projects
• Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site and corporate staff to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget
• Work with the Project team to develop a work plan, establish priorities and assign tasks
• Coordinate the preparation of the schedule and long term planning
• Implement, monitor, update and communicate the progress schedule and its periodic revisions
• Manage financial aspects of contracts: review and approve budgets, cost reports, rental equipment and expenses
• Perform the final review of internal items such as Cost Analysis, Monthly Billing, Master Cost Breakdown and Monthly Reports
• Manage subcontractor schedules, quality of work, coordination with other trades and payments
• Create and maintain a safe/secure job site environment
• Review and approve drawings and samples prior to submittal
• submittalTrain and develop the Project team and schedule project resources

Profile

• 3+ years of construction experience
• Strong background in leading projects
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• The ability to work in a fast paced work environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
