Job description

Wanderlust Videos is a post‑production studio specializing in cinematic editing for wedding filmmakers around the world. With over 10 years of experience, we are passionate about helping filmmakers tell their stories with care, creativity, and attention to detail.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Project Coordinator to help manage the day‑to‑day flow of client projects and ensure seamless collaboration between clients, account managers, quality control specialists, and editors.

The Project Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring that client projects are moving smoothly through each stage of the post‑production pipeline. This is a client‑facing role, and most communication is handled professionally through email. You’ll coordinate timelines, update project statuses, ensure editors and QAs stay aligned with client expectations, flag risks, and keep communication flowing. If you love spreadsheets, checklists, and being the person who keeps everyone on track, this role is for you.

This is a contract full‑time 8 hours/day remote (work from home) position with fixed monthly payments and paid time off. Working hours can be flexible but at least 4-5 hours of working overlap with US Central Time is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison between customers, account managers, editors, and QA specialists to keep projects.
  • Manage timelines and project progress across a high volume of client edits.
  • Coordinate with editors, QA specialists, and account managers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and the editing team, ensuring needs and feedback are clearly interpreted and conveyed.
  • Respond to client messages, confirm timelines, and provide updates via email.
  • Flag risks such as delays, scope changes, or communication gaps early.
  • Ensure notes and feedback are documented and shared clearly across the team.
  • Identify workflow issues and suggest process improvements.
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in written and spoken English is required
  • 4-5 hours of working overlap with US Central Time is required
  • 2+ years in project coordination, client services, or operations (creative industry or post‑production a plus)
  • Excellent written communication and email etiquette
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience managing client communications and expectations professionally
  • Familiarity with video editing workflows is a bonus, not a must
