Job summary

Nextlink Internet in Hudson Oaks, TX is seeking a detail-oriented administrative/coordination professional to bridge Site Acquisition, Tower Host Liaison, Electrical and Construction teams.

You will manage workflow, project scheduling, and permit procurement, maintain files, and produce construction drawings as needed. Excellent communication, organization, and proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook are essential for success.

Company Overview

We are a Hudson Oaks, Texas-based Internet Service Provider (ISP) delivering High Speed Internet and Voice Services throughout multiple states to residential, business, K-12 Education and government customers. We believe there is much more to an internet company than just delivering cost-effective internet solutions; we believe in delivering an overall customer experience that our competitors simply cannot match. This individual will interface between Site Acquisition, Tower Host Liaison, Electrical, and Construction Departments. External coordination with FAA and FCC, city and county jurisdictions, and utility companies is also required. Typical duties include general administrative tasks such as communicating with Tower Host, workflow management, file management, project scheduling, work order generation and permit procurement. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as the ability to learn quickly are necessary. Provides weekly progress updates to management as necessary.

Required Experience & Skills

Effective communicator, with strong interpersonal and superior organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, a commitment to tight deadlines, and the ability to multi-task. Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality. Experience working in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Must be comfortable in a rapidly changing environment and be able to adapt easily to change. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborative in style. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to interpret reports and metrics. Confident in public speaking. Ability to use initiative and work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirement

The employee may be occasionally required to lift and/or move equipment and materials up to 20 lbs. This position may involve occasionally operating a motor-vehicle, which may require assuming a stationary position for extended periods of time.
