Nextlink is seeking a Field Installation Technician to perform on-site installations and service visits for customers. You will troubleshoot issues, install Internet equipment, and configure routers and devices at customer locations.
The role requires physical work outdoors and climbing, with occasional on-call duties. Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, can work independently, and pass background checks and a drug screen.

Job description: The Field Installation Technician requires excellent customer service skills and technical ability. The position requires completing customer installations, service visits, on-site troubleshooting, and recovery of equipment. Work is performed on site at customer locations both with a physical aspect of installing Internet equipment.
Skills: Must be professional in dress, speech, and manner. Ability to work independently, using sound judgement principles. Must demonstrate accountability in order to set priorities, organize workload, handle multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines. Ability to work within a fast-paced, high-change environment while managing multiple interruptions and adjustments to priorities throughout the day. Must demonstrate a desire to learn, supported with a love for technology. Must pass a drug screening test, a criminal background check, have and maintain a valid DL with a safe/acceptable driving record in compliance with company policy. Must be able to use tools to install equipment.

Working Hours/Days: 40 hours minimum Overtime as needed On Call as needed
