Job summary

Altius Talent is seeking a Project Coordinator in Houston to support its project cargo desk. You will coordinate shipments across air, ocean and specialized freight, prepare documentation and permits, and keep clients informed throughout.

This role is ideal for someone with forwarding experience, eager to learn heavy lift and out-of-gauge work, with a path from coordinator to specialist.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in freight forwarding or project logistics.
• Know shipping documentation, INCOTERMS and customs basics.
• Organised, accurate and calm under pressure.
• Exposure to breakbulk or out-of-gauge cargo would help.

A French-owned global logistics provider is looking for a Project Coordinator to support its Houston project cargo desk. You would keep complex moves on track across air, ocean and specialised freight, preparing documentation and permits, booking with carriers and truckers, and keeping clients informed throughout. It is a strong first step into project logistics for someone with forwarding experience.

Day to day

• Coordinate project cargo shipments across air, ocean and specialized freight.
• Prepare documentation, permits and shipping instructions.
• Book and track shipments with carriers, truckers and agents.
• Support the project manager and keep clients updated throughout.

You’ll fit if

• You have at least 2 years in freight forwarding or project logistics.
