Job summary

Altius Talent | Freight Forwarding Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager in Houston to lead end-to-end project cargo moves across air, ocean and specialized freight. You will own planning, execution and client relationships from enquiry to delivery.

The role requires a minimum of five years in project logistics or freight forwarding, with experience in breakbulk, heavy lift and out-of-gauge cargo and EPC project exposure.

Job description

A privately owned Houston project forwarder is hiring a Project Manager to run project cargo moves end to end. You would handle the planning, the execution and the client relationship across air, ocean and specialised freight, including breakbulk, heavy lift and out-of-gauge cargo. The projects are varied, and you would own yours from enquiry through to delivery.

The role

• Plan and run project cargo moves across air, ocean and specialized freight.
• Manage routing, chartering, permits, budgets and on-site execution.

• Own the client relationship and coordinate vendors, carriers and agents.

You'll fit if

• You have at least 5 years in project logistics or project freight forwarding.
• You have handled breakbulk, heavy lift and out-of-gauge cargo.

• You plan carefully and keep clients confident under pressure.
