Job summary

W-Industries is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist Project Managers across phases, keeping schedules current, supporting costing/forecasting, and aiding in bidding and procurement tasks. You will gather information and generate stakeholder-ready reports while maintaining project records and ensuring timely communications.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in project coordination within manufacturing or related sectors, a high school diploma (bachelor preferred), and proficient MS Office

Responsibilities

  • Analyze work with PM and Engineers to review and update project schedules.
  • Work with PM and Engineers to ensure the Project Task List is updated throughout the execution of the project.
  • Gather information and analyze project revenue, cost, and profitability, including material and labor costs against project quote.
  • Work with PM, Engineers, and Major Stakeholders to complete the final MDR of the projects.
  • Provide support to update the project’s system of records.
  • Schedule internal and external project meetings and project design reviews between design, manufacturing, production engineering, and sales and customer.
  • Provide support during the bidding phase of projects.
  • Provide support managing part order projects.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned by the manager.

Description

The Primary Role of this position is to work with Project Managers to provide support with daily activities during different phases of the project, including but not limited to maintaining the Project TaskList, updating the Project Schedule, providing support with Project Costing/Forecasting, Material Purchasing, Projects updates and provide support during the bidding process. The role requires continuous interaction between the Project Team and the PM while also being responsible for gathering information to prepare reports for Project’s Stakeholders.

Required Experience & Education
  • High School Degree required, Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (This is a Must)
  • 2 - 3 years of Project Coordinating experience in Manufacturing or a related industry.
  • PMP, CAPM, CA-PMO or CB-PMO certifications are a plus.
  • Experience in construction, energy, or manufacturing projects is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
