Carolina Conduit Systems (CCS) in Greenville, SC seeks a Project Coordinator to assist with day-to-day coordination of construction projects, ensuring documentation, schedules, and communications are organized and timely. You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, field crews, customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in project coordination or construction administration.
  • Construction industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with underground utilities, electrical, telecom, or civil construction is a plus.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to learn company project management software.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with the coordination and administration of construction projects.
  • Maintain accurate project files, documentation, schedules, and records.
  • Assist with tracking project progress, deadlines, and outstanding items.
  • Coordinate communication between Project Managers, field personnel, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Assist with material and equipment coordination and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare, organize, and distribute project-related documentation.
  • Assist with purchase orders, invoices, receipts, and other project paperwork.
  • Track project costs, labor, materials, equipment, and other project-related information.
  • Assist with processing change orders, work orders, and other project documentation.
  • Maintain project logs and ensure information is updated accurately.
  • Help coordinate field crews and communicate project requirements as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, site visits, inspections, and other project activities.
  • Follow up with vendors and internal teams regarding materials, equipment, paperwork, and deadlines.
  • Assist with customer communication and respond to project-related requests as needed.
  • Identify potential scheduling, material, or documentation issues and communicate them to the appropriate team member.
  • Ensure project documentation is organized and readily available for audits, billing, and closeout.
  • Assist with project closeout activities and ensure required documentation is completed.
  • Perform other administrative and project-support duties as assigned.

Position Summary

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to learn and utilize company project management and construction software.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with employees, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
Preferred Skills
  • Construction project coordination experience.
  • Experience working with Project Managers and field crews.
  • Knowledge of construction terminology and processes.
  • Experience with project documentation, purchase orders, invoices, and change orders.
  • Strong Excel and data-entry skills.
  • Ability to read and understand basic project documentation, plans, or schedules.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
