Description

The Project Coordinator supports Engineering and Production by managing production work orders, verifying material availability, coordinating inventory requirements, processing requests for subcontracted work, and assisting with parts-related customer inquiries. This position works across Engineering, Project Management, Fabrication, Warehouse, and other departments to support production requirements and maintain accurate information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Generate and manage work orders released to production.
  • Verify material availability for planned work order completion.
  • Coordinate with Production Managers, Warehouse, Engineering, and other departments to address production material requirements.
  • Support inventory accuracy by identifying and communicating material discrepancies.
  • Process purchase requests for subcontracted processing and outside services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors.
  • Research production, inventory, and product information needed to support internal and customer requests.
  • Maintain accurate work order, material, and related ERP information.
  • Monitor multiple active requests and production requirements and adjust priorities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
  • Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending, or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
  • Climbing in and out of vehicles
  • Requires lifting up to 45 pounds frequently
  • Requires eye hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment
  • Normal range of hearing and vision
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in manufacturing, inventory, production support, or a related environment.
  • Experience working with production work orders, inventory information, or similar manufacturing documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret production drawings.
  • Experience coordinating manufacturing schedules, work orders, production priorities, or similar activities.
  • Experience using ERP, inventory management, or production management software.
  • Experience with office software tools (G-Suite / Microsoft)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with internal departments and external customers.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple functional areas.
Preferred Experience:
  • NetSuite or similar manufacturing ERP experience.
  • Manufacturing or specialty-vehicle industry experience.
  • Fabrication and mechanical knowledge.
  • Experience supporting parts sales or service-related customer requests.
JOB DETAILS:
  • Type: Hourly
  • Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday6:00am - 2:30pm
  • Compensation Range: $23.00 - $27.00
  • Bonus Eligibility: No
  • Reports To: Engineering Supervisor
