American-Gypsum is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to manage raw material inventory, coordinate replenishment with the Production Manager, and maintain ERP records of purchase orders, deliveries and inventory.
You will order materials, track shipments, prepare weekly and monthly inventory reports, and communicate with vendors about status, lead times and quality concerns. This full-time, on-site role offers a competitive benefits package and growth opportunities.
Work Schedule: 10 - 12-hours.
Starting Pay: Hourly-non-exempt
Full or Part Time: Full-time only
Pay Range: $26.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
Monitor raw material inventory and coordinate replenishment with Production Manager.
Order production materials, repair parts, and operating supplies per company policies.
Track incoming shipments, verify delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain ERP-based records of purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory.
Prepare weekly and monthly inventory reports.
Communicate with vendors on order status, lead times, and quality concerns.
Assist with special events (safety luncheons, recognition programs, tours).
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience using ERP or inventory management software such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong organizational, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Primary work performed in plant and production office.
Must be physically capable of climbing stairs and sitting for prolonged periods.
