Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager to support delivery of luxury residential and high-end custom homes. Based in Easton, CT, you will collaborate with project managers, superintendents, architects, designers, subcontractors, and homeowners through all project phases.

You will help with planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, documentation, and closeout, ensuring on-time, on-budget execution with strong communication across teams.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in construction coordination, admin, or assistant PM roles.
  • Experience with residential, luxury, or high-end renovations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Buildertrend, Procore, Sage or similar CM software is highly desirable.
  • Ability to collaborate with homeowners, architects, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve issues before they impact schedule or budget.
  • Support closeout activities and turnover documentation.

Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager

Location: Bridgeport, CT

Help Deliver Exceptional Custom Homes

We are seeking a Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of luxury residential and high-end custom home projects.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in every phase of construction, from preconstruction planning and procurement through project execution and closeout. You'll work alongside experienced Project Managers, Superintendents, architects, designers, subcontractors, and homeowners to help bring unique, high-quality residential projects to life.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Project Coordinator / APM, you'll play a key role in keeping projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward successfully.

Responsibilities
  • Support Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple luxury residential construction projects.

  • Assist with budgeting, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and material tracking.

  • Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, permits, and project reports.

  • Coordinate project schedules and help track milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.

What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in construction coordination, project administration, assistant project management, or related roles.

  • Experience with residential, custom home, luxury residential, or high-end renovation projects preferred.

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and project documentation.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Easton, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
