Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a hands-on Construction Project Coordinator to support execution and management of industrial plant projects in Kentucky. You will assist across multiple sites, oversee subcontractors, coordinate procurement, and track costs to ensure on-time delivery and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction or project management and a strong mechanical aptitude, with a professional, organized approach to execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; relevant degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in construction, project coordination, or project management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing construction activities across multiple plant sites.
• Support procurement and selection of plant equipment and required materials.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Oversee internal labor for equipment installation and construction work.
• Participate in equipment startup, commissioning, and operational handoff.
• Maintain and manage tools and equipment utilized on-site.
• Communicate with plant leadership on equipment functionality and performance.
• Track project costs and support construction budget management.
• Ensure safe operation of tools, machinery, and jobsite activities.
• Provide hands-on oversight of fabrication work (cutting, welding, installation, layout).
• Support additional project and site responsibilities as required.

• Frequent bending, lifting, pulling, and physical activity
• Willingness to travel extensively (air and ground)
• Ability to work nights/weekends for shutdowns or equipment changeouts
• Comfortable working at heights (up to ~50 ft)
