Job summary

Cooper Machinery Services LLC in Cambridge, MA seeks an experienced Project Coordinator to oversee project activities, schedule development, and ensure contract conformance for client‑specific work in the natural gas and reciprocating compressor sectors.

You will interface with engineering, operations, and the customer to convey execution plans, track progress, manage scope changes, and prepare project documentation including proposals, meeting minutes, and reports.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience as a Project Coordinator, preferably in gas and compressor industries.

Job description

What You Will Do:

• Oversee project activities, schedule development and customer-specific contract conformance requirements.
• Interface with internal Engineering, Operations teams and the customer to ensure a clear communication channel to convey execution plans, progress updates and to manage changes in scope.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including proposals, meeting minutes, and reports
• Ensure close and effective coordination with all internal stakeholder groups, including sales, engineering, sourcing, and operations.
• Identify and have quoted all scope changes for review and approval.
• Identify potential issues and develop solutions to keep the project on track.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Who You Are:

You Have:

• Associate's degreein a technical field (e.g., Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology) or equivalent
• 5+ years' experience as a Project Coordinator, preferably within the natural gas and reciprocating compressor industry.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with compressor component and assembly drawings, engineering principles, and technical specifications related to reciprocating compressors, with an understanding of their application in the natural gas and process industries. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Acumatica or other ERP system a plus.
