Job summary

LS GreenLink in Chesapeake, VA is building a state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility and seeks a proactive Project Coordination Manager to oversee construction administration and external relations with government authorities, utilities, and community stakeholders.

You will manage permitting, zoning approvals, contracts, and official correspondence, coordinate town halls and briefings, ensure site readiness, and support project managers with budgets and change orders in a fast‑paced construction

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • Experience coordinating across government authorities and utilities preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex project documentation and permits.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee construction administration and external relations for the facility project.
  • Serve as liaison between LS GreenLink, local government, utilities, and community stakeholders.
  • Coordinate permitting, zoning approvals, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage contracts, official correspondence, and meeting minutes.

LS GreenLink is building a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facilityto produce high-voltage submarine power cablesin Chesapeake, VA.These cables are integral to the global supply chain for offshore wind farms and designed to optimize bulk clean-power transmission. We areseekinga highly organized and proactiveProject Coordination Manager to oversee construction administration and external relations for our new manufacturing facility project. This role serves as the primary bridge between our organization, local government authorities, utility providers, and community stakeholders, ensuring seamless compliance, permitting, and relationship management throughout the project lifecycle.

Salary:

  • $100,000 - $130,000/year

Experience Requirements:

  • Act as the primary point of contact and liaison between the company and local municipality/city authorities, economic development agencies, and regulatory bodies.

  • Build,maintain, andleveragepositive long-term relationships with local government officials, neighboring businesses, and community stakeholders.

  • Coordinate andfacilitatetown hall meetings, community briefings, and neighborhood alignment sessions asrequired.

  • Streamline and track end-to-end permitting and zoning approval processes with local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).

  • Manage critical project documentation, including contracts, official correspondence, compliance certificates, and meeting minutes.

  • Collaborate with utility providers (power, water, telecom) to ensuretimelyinfrastructure connections and site readiness.

  • Support Project Managers in monitoring contract compliance, project budgets, andchangeorder documentation.

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bilingualproficiencyin English and Korean (verbal and written) to effectively bridge communication between headquarters, expatriate staff, and local US authorities.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability toidentifypotential permitting or regulatory bottlenecks and develop practical mitigation strategies.

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills for managing official correspondence and contracts.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced construction environment.

  • Ability tomaintainprofessionalism and diplomacy while navigating municipal workflows and community relations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Officeprograms such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Requirements:

  • Be independently mobile

  • Must be able to sit for an extended period of time

  • Must be able to push or pull up to 50 lbs. with assistance

  • Exposure to noise levels requiring hearing protection

  • Mainly work at construction sites and must wear appropriate safety gear

  • Bachelor’s degreein Construction Management, Public Administration, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related field
