This position will serve as the primary liaison between the company, local government authorities, utility providers, and community stakeholders. The Project Coordination Manager will work directly under the direction of the Project Director and will be responsible for streamlining the permitting processes, ensuring municipal compliance, and supporting seamless construction administration.
The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of local zoning laws and building codes, experience in public administration on large‑scale industrial construction projects, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with city officials, contractors, and project management teams.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean (verbal and written) to effectively bridge communication between headquarters, expatriate staff, and local US authorities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to identify potential permitting or regulatory bottlenecks and develop practical mitigation strategies.
Strong organizational and documentation skills for managing official correspondence and contracts.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced construction environment.
Ability to maintain professionalism and diplomacy while navigating municipal workflows and community relations.
