Job summary

KEITH Engineering Design in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator to support scheduling, accounting, and project documentation across our civil engineering and related services. You will collaborate with project managers to keep milestones on track and ensure accurate cost reporting.

Responsibilities include developing schedules in MS Project or Primavera, handling billing, preparing budgets, and maintaining comprehensive project files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 0-2 years experience in project controls, scheduling, accounting, documentation or related role within Engineering, Architecture, or Construction industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project or Primavera.
• Coordinate with PMs to monitor project progress and update schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Identify and mitigate scheduling risks and conflicts.
• Project accounting: billing, accounts receivable and consultant billing.
• Prepare and analyze cost reports, variances, and corrective actions.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, change orders, and correspondence.
