  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–7 years of project controls, scheduling, or planning experience in construction or EPC environments.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project scheduling tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with risk assessment experience.
  • Understanding of construction workflows, scopes of work and project lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work with incomplete information and adapt to changing project needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks, delays, and opportunities to optimize timelines.
  • Assist with creation and management of Statements of Work (SOWs) aligned to project scope and milestones.
  • Assist with project risk identification, tracking, and mitigation planning.
  • Prepare regular schedule, progress, and risk reports for leadership and clients.
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to validate progress and forecast impacts.
  • Document and communicate changes in scope, schedule, or resources.
  • Support stage-gate reviews, baseline approvals, and performance audits.
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of project controls processes.

The Project Controls Specialist plays a key role in supporting project execution through effective schedule development, progress tracking, risk management, and scope oversight. This mid-level role works closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, and field teams to ensure project performance is accurately monitored and communicated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks, delays, and opportunities to optimize timelines.

Other Requirements:
  • Travel: 20%, to support other Paligen Technologies locations. International travel if required.
  • Work Environment: Manufacturing sites and office work environment
  • Background Investigation / Drug Screen / US Person: Required.
