Job summary

AltaGas is seeking an Associate Project Controls Specialist to support project teams with financial analysis, reporting, and planning. You will manage documentation, dashboards, and data across engineering and capital projects to drive efficiency and reduce risk.

The role requires a relevant degree with 2+ years of experience and proficiency in MS Office, SQL, SharePoint, and PowerBI. A CAPM is preferred and a strong ability to communicate in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
• CAPM certification preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel), SQL, Project, SharePoint, Outlook; PowerBI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of project documentation and compliance; support financial analysis, reporting and planning.
• Monitor project financial performance; identify variances and risks; suggest cost-saving strategies.
• Provide actionable insights to Project Managers to improve budgeting and forecasting.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Construction Management related field
