Job summary

Omega Foundation Services, Inc is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to help keep civil and industrial projects on budget and on schedule. The role involves building cost codes, maintaining budgets, and generating earned value data to inform decisions for project managers in Baton Rouge.

Responsibilities include CPM scheduling in Primavera P6 or MS Project, tracking cost-to-complete, and supporting change orders and monthly reporting for leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience building budgets and cost codes aligned to WBS.
• Experience turning field data into earned value, CPI and SPI metrics.

Responsibilities

• Cost control: set up budgets and track costs vs. budget.
• Schedule control: build baseline CPM schedules and monitor critical path.
• Progress & earned value: calculate percent complete and productivity factors.
• Change management: maintain change orders and document revisions.
• Reporting & billing support: produce project reports and support invoicing.
• Process improvement: standardize codes and reporting formats across projects.
