Job summary

Baker Group in Liberty, Missouri is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to partner with the Industrial Project Team. You will develop and maintain plans for successful project execution, using controls tools to track progress, schedules, labor productivity, and cost forecasting.

This role requires strong scheduling skills, proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Office, and the ability to create baselines, reports, and risk logs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or six years related progressive work experience.
• Extensive practical experience with MS Office and Primavera P6.
• Strong scheduling knowledge and industry scheduling standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand project controls requirements per project and provide input to project team members on necessary reporting.
• Develop applicable project control reports to track project progress.
• Develop project schedules to align with budgets and cost requirements.
• Create and maintain WBS and CPM schedules with project managers, foreman, and estimators.
• Load schedules with labor and cost details and update baselines as needed.
• Develop cost reports, forecast information, and risk logs for review.
• Participate in meetings and lead project schedule discussions with team members and subcontractors.
• Ensure alignment on baselines and provide feedback on changes and delays.
