Job summary

Invenergy is a leading North American energy company seeking a Manager of Project Controls Cost & Schedule to lead cost control and scheduling for major projects. You will manage staff, develop integrated cost/schedule models, and provide critical path analysis to improve construction execution.

The role requires extensive experience in cost control, scheduling, and project coordination across vendors and internal teams, with travel up to 5% and time on active construction sites.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of work experience; 6+ years in construction with cost and scheduling.
• Team lead or people management experience.
• P6/OPC experience.
• Cost control system experience.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.
• Willing to spend time on active construction sites.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• PMI/ CCP/CCC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost control and scheduling staff for key projects.
• Manage cost and schedule models and critical path analysis.
• Develop integrated cost and schedule reports for executives.
• Review contractor schedules and identify risks.
• Own baseline schedule and coordinate updates with stakeholders.
• Provide planning, cost, and scheduling support across projects.
• Monitor expenses, invoicing, and purchase requests.
• Perform commercial review of subcontractor quotations.
• Ensure reporting reflects status of all activities and deliveries.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation plans.
• Prepare monthly movement reports for project management.
• Ensure project requirements are met through tracking and reporting.
• Support on-site activities and field coordination as needed.
