Job summary

Invenergy in Chicago seeks a Sr. Associate Project Controls Cost & Scheduling to create detailed construction schedules, analyze critical path, and deliver earned value reporting in support of a portfolio of projects.

This role requires a BA/BS, 7+ years in construction, proficiency with Primavera P6 or Primavera Cloud, CPM scheduling, and strong communication. Hybrid schedule; travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• 7+ years in construction or related field.
• Experience with large-scale projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 or Oracle Primavera Cloud.
• CPM scheduling expertise.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Willing to travel up to 5%.
• US work authorization without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules with critical path and milestones.
• Act as scheduling SME; implement quality checks.
• Monitor schedule risks and mitigation plans.
• Evaluate impacts of change orders on timelines.
• Support earned value analysis and progress reporting.
• Coordinate with departments to update program schedule.
• Own baseline schedule and client updates.
• Review contractor/subcontractor schedules.
• Lead schedule review meetings.
• Utilize AI tools to assist scheduling.
• QA/QC of schedules for alignment with goals.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports.
