Job summary

Consertus, a global capital program management firm, seeks a Project Controls Manager to collect budget, schedule, and cost data, monitor activity, and develop reporting for on-time, on-budget project delivery. You will oversee data from PMs, CM’s, and contractors, maintaining schedules, costing, and cost estimation processes.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of cost estimating, scheduling, finance and contract administration.
• Experience as an AEC project analyst and in project controls.

Responsibilities

• Manages reconciliation of program controls data with financial systems.
• Coordinates planning and development teams to maintain data coding structures.
• Develops and maintains a management reporting database for program controls reports.
• Ensures timely reporting of project progress to advise on timelines or costs.
• Promotes open communication to minimize disruptions and delays.
• Reviews and updates project documents as needed to fit project requirements.

The Project controls manager will be responsible for monitoring and collecting all project data developed and used by PM’s CM’s and contractors in the execution of the projects, including project schedules, planning, phasing and cost estimation.Key Responsibilities:Manages and ensures the reconciliation of program controls data with financial systems.Utilizes existing project data systems to monitor, develop and record project dataCoordinates and provides leadership to Planning and Development Teams to establish and maintain data coding structures and project control toolsGathers and tracks quality data used for budgets, contracts, change orders, trends and actual costsDevelops, implements and maintains a management reporting data base to produce program controls reportsEnsures regular and timely reporting of the projects progress to advise of any conditions that would affect timelines or costsProvides feedback to ensure adjustments are made on a timely basis with minimal disruption to projectPromotes open communication and collaboration between all parties to ensure that projects are completed with minimal disruptions and delaysMaintains computerized project reports as dictated by the project and by the contractual obligationsReviews, evaluates and recommends changes to project documents as required by project needsAssists in the establishment of a master schedule to ensure that the project is completed within agreed upon time and cost constraintsQualifications/Requirements:B.S. in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business or related field.
