Job summary

Michels Underground Cable, Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Lead to partner with Operations on budgeting, scheduling, and project coordination for medium voltage duct banks, substations, underground transmission, and campus distribution systems.

You will develop and implement standard procedures, train staff, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement on data-center and mission-critical projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting; 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination
• General knowledge of accounting and business operations
• Project cost analysis experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time to various project sites

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, scheduling, and project coordination processes with Operations
• Develop, implement, and train new employees on standard procedures
• Support data center and mission critical projects focusing on MV duct banks, substations, underground transmission, and campus distribution systems
