Job summary

AtkinsRéalis USA Inc. is seeking a Project Services Analyst Intern in Philadelphia, PA. You will assist with scheduling, forecasting, budgeting, cost analysis, forecasting, and financial tracking to help deliver projects successfully.

This entry-level internship requires 60 hours toward an ABET-accredited engineering/construction degree, with basic ability to read construction drawings and proficiency in Excel. The role includes mentorship and opportunities to work with project teams and clients.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Must have completed 60 hours toward an engineering/construction degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
  • Basic experience in reading construction drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Support development, maintenance, and monitoring of project schedules, forecasts, budgets, risks, changes and performance metrics.
  • Assist with procurement, bid evaluations, contract administration, change management, and coordination with contractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare reports and analyses, validate project information, and support decision-making and communication.

Job Description Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Services Analyst Intern to join our Philadelphia, PA office. Your Role Supports the development, maintenance, and monitoring of project schedules, forecasts, budgets, risks, changes, and performance metrics to help deliver projects successfully. Performs estimating, quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, forecasting, reporting, cash flow monitoring, invoice processing, and financial tracking activities. Assists with procurement, bid evaluations, contract administration, change management, contractor coordination, and compliance monitoring. Maintains project records and databases, validates project information, prepares reports and analyses, and supports project communication and decision-making. Collaborates with project teams, clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to support project execution and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field. Basic experience in reading construction drawings.

Education

Must have completed 60 hours towards an engineering/construction management/construction degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).

Special Skills

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
